Tampa, Day 1

The flight was smooth and we arrived safely at Cedarkirk Camp. We are the first school to arrive on site with beautiful weather welcoming us. Right to the pool we went where the students played in the water and hung out. The group has bonded amazingly in the short amount of time, people thought they all knew each other already.

Tonight we will welcome Tufts and Kansas around dinner time. After dinner there will be some ice-breakers for all participants followed by a campfire.

Tomorrow we will be working with Tampa Bay watch where the students will be doing bay preservation work. We hope that the next few posts are written by students, but we couldn’t wrestle any of them from the pool.

Best wishes,

The Tampa Team (Elan Burman and Marissa Neuman)

  1. I appreciate the update.

I believe that doing a volunteering work during a spring break is very good for my son.

ISHAR CHOACH to all of you!
