We hope you enjoy reading about our student’s adventures as they head to the Dominican Republic to work with Orphanage Outreach and to teach English in local schools and to Atlanta to encounter poverty in America.
These trips are part of Maryland Hillel’s bold Alternative Break program that will send 13 trips total during winter, spring and summer breaks. These trips expose students to social issues that plague our country and world and teach them how they can make a difference. Through active service, speakers and educational components, students understand the issues, begin to make a change and understand our Jewish responsibility to the world.
We hope you enjoy reading about their amazing experiences and adventures!
